我出生在江西省宜丰县的一个小山村里，爸爸于1992年患病去世，妈妈1995年因车祸去世，留下我、妹妹、弟弟三姐弟于年迈的爷爷奶奶相依为命。奶奶终年多病，妹妹小学毕业便辍学在家，弟弟今年读高二。对于一个没有任何经济来源的家庭来说，我和弟弟的学、杂费是如此高的一个天文数字！
自进入大学以来，我一直以学习为重，坚持天天上自习，让我高兴的是，大一上学期，我的成绩是全班第6，下学期第7（总共55人）。还在下学期一次性通过了国家大学英语4级的考试。我一定会再接再厉，以便在将来的学习中取得更好的成绩。
学习之余，我还热心于帮助同学，关心集体，追求上进，主动要求入党，已在大一成为首批入党积极分子。
为此，家中面临着巨大的学费压力，家中实在拿不出足够的钱来送我上大学，可我又不想因为家庭贫困而失去上大学的机会，因为我知道，如果没有知识，没有文化，是无法在这个竞争激烈的社会生存下去的！所以，我一定要完成我的学业。故申请此项助学金以顺利完成大学学业。
